The $3 sale is ~almost~ upon us!
When: Saturday, April 1st ~ Doors open at 11am - 6pm.
Where: 511 S Carolina Street, in Johns Landing.

Our highly anticipated $3 sale happens a few times a year and each event supports a different Portland charitable organization. Shopping for a cause, nice right?
What is being sold?
As a resale shop, we gather our fair share of donations. For a while we were sending everything off to our favorite local charity, Mainspring Portland. Then we had an idea. Why not filter through our donations, save the best of the best, sell them for $3 a pop and donate all the money to a different local non-profit? And that was how the $3 sale began.
What can I expect to see?
A lot of the brands you will see at the $3 sale are the same brands you will see while shopping at HWGA. For example: Nike, Madewell, Splendid, and that’s just to name a few.
Do I need to show up early?
Short answer, yes. There is usually a line in front of the door before 11:00am. We do our best to refill the racks throughout the day but you know what they say, “early bird gets the worm”.
Can I bring in consignments that day?
No, we will be functioning as normalbut this is a BIIIIIG event, and we won't have time to review consignments too.
Is the whole store $3?!?
Ha ha, no. We wish. The $3 sale takes place in the back of the shop in the shoe-la-la room. The rest of the shop is still open and available for normal shopping.
What organization is being benefited this time around?
Mainspring Portland! They are a wonderful charity helping those in need around Portland since 1976. Find out more about them here:
