What The What? Update From Chris

While our open hours are still limited, it’s a whirlwind behind our doors, trust me! Fantastic consignments are coming in every day we’re open (and some days we’re not!)

For August, hours have changed.

Here’s the rundown: Broadway is open Wednesday to Saturday; weekdays 12-5, and Saturdays 11-5; Closed Sun-Tuesday. Johns Landing is slightly different with open hours 5 days. West side hours are Tuesday 12-5, Thursday-Friday 12-5, Saturdays 11-5 and Sundays 12-5; Closed Monday & Wednesday.

You don’t need an appointment.¬† You may bring consignments anytime during those hours as in the “beforetimes”. BUT- since we’re operating with a minimal staff right now, we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to review your consignment items while you wait. We’ll do our best.

In addition – at Johns Landing ONLY – we’ll also take in consignments on Tuesdays 12-5.

Some FAQs
When will you expand your hours again?

Additional hours in store will be added based on demand. As of now, our store traffic doesn’t justify it, but as we get busier, we’ll reconsider what days and hours to expand.

Do I need to wear a mask?

For everyone’s safety, we do require that you wear a mask while shopping. Please be sure to wear it as suggested to cover both your nose and mouth. Our staff are doing the same. We have disposable masks available if you don’t have one with you. Thank you!

Do you have masks for sale?

Yes, we do! In varying styles and fabrics, with new styles arriving fairly frequently as our stock diminishes. We’re trying to have them in stock all the time, so we’re reordering before we get too low.

How many people are allowed in at one time?

Because the stores are different sizes, we’ve set our capacity limit to reflect that. The Broadway store will allow 3 shoppers at one time, and Johns Landing will allow 5.

Can I try things on?

Yes! Research has shown that soft surfaces like clothing and fabric are not a risk for spreading the virus. We disinfect each dressing room after use, and allow it to “rest” for a period before it’s available for reuse.

Are you still doing On-Approval purchases?

Since we are currently open only 4 days per week and we want to do our best for consignors, on-approval sales are suspended for the time being.

Are you still taking consignments?

Absolutely yes! We’re reviewing summer clothing and accessories for consignment. Remember, we must be very selective right now, we’re unable to take basics, tailored clothing or career wear, or special occasion. We may need to pass on things we would take under different circumstances. Thank you for understanding.

Please come in and shop – we’d love to see you! If you have health issues and would prefer private shopping, we’re happy to set an appointment for you. Contact me directly at Johns Landing.

Be well, stay safe and take care.

xoxo ~ Chris

Chris moved to Portland, Oregon in 1990 and immediately felt at home, among her people. She started Here We Go Again Deluxe Resale Boutique in 1992 and has never looked back. The second location of her store opened in 1997. Chris loves pretty much everything about clothes and fashion, but she has a serious boot and shoe addiction that is fed by the two stores. It's doubtful she will ever be recovered. In addition to clothes, Chris loves mentoring young women and teaching them about what it takes to run and manage a small business. She has employed some pretty remarkable women over the years and is grateful for all they've done to help grow Here We Go Again. She is a Hoosier by birth, but was raised in Nebraska. She has two sisters who continue to run the consignment store there, and one brother who has sense enough to stay out of the way. Her husband of twenty-seven years, is a land use planner and the fix-anything-guru that Chris relies upon more often than she'd like.
