Red Gift box with ribbonWhat about exchanges?

We realize when shopping consignment for gifts, the prospect of something not being exactly right can be a deterrent. And, because we typically get only one of each item, exchanging for different size or color isn’t often an option. You want the gift to be perfect. If not, you want the recipient to have the option to get something else.

Introducing Gift Guarantee!Holiday tag

At HWGA, any purchase made between Thanksgiving and New Year’s may be set up to be returnable for exchange or store credit before January 10, 2015.  If it’s not quite all that to the recipient, the gift will come with a gift guarantee card allowing her to bring it back to either location and use an equal amount towards purchase of anything else we have in store.

Shop with confidence.

Don’t see something today?  The credit will never expire, so you’re confident that with new women’s consignment items arriving every day, she’ll be sure to find something before long.  Does she have a particular designer label she adores? We can even put her on our Wish List so we notify her when her heart’s desire arrives!

When you make your purchase, simply let us know the item is for a gift.  We’ll set up the Gift Guarantee under the recipient’s name so if she needs to return an item, we’ll be able to tell her exactly how much she has to spend.  Simple.  It’s our way of making sure you’re happy with your shopping experience and will come back to shop with us again and again!

Chris is a self-confessed resale fashionista. A fashion recycler from an early age, she learned the consignment business from her mother, Jan Gauger, at omt divine resale in Lincoln, Nebraska. Chris moved to Portland, Oregon in 1990 and immediately felt at home, among her people. She started Here We Go Again Deluxe Resale Boutique in 1992 and has never looked back. The second location of her store opened in 1997. Chris loves pretty much everything about clothes and fashion, but she has a serious boot and shoe addiction that is fed by the two stores. It's doubtful she will ever be recovered. In addition to clothes, Chris loves mentoring young women and teaching them about what it takes to run and manage a small business. She has employed some pretty remarkable women over the years and is grateful for all they've done to help grow Here We Go Again. She is a Hoosier by birth, but was raised in Nebraska. She has two sisters who continue to run the consignment store there, and one brother who has sense enough to stay out of the way. Her husband of twenty-seven years, is a land use planner and the fix-anything-guru that Chris relies upon more often than she'd like.
