crystal nail files

crystal nail filesAh, Holidays!

At Here We Go Again, we don’t do the big decorating thing. We don’t play holiday music (mostly). We’re trying to be a bit of a calm refuge during the hectic season. All that doesn’t mean that we don’t like the holidays, or that we don’t get a bit mushy inside at the sent of a cedar garland… It also doesn’t mean that we are devoid of great gift ideas! In fact, we actively search all year for ideas to make your holiday shopping easy, and easy on your budget.

Stocking Stuffers

Fun little sumethin-somethins that lift their spirits, make your gift-ee laugh or help solve a problem. Number one gift idea this year? Our crystal nail files, shown above. Ombré colors, in two sizes, only $7 and $9. What’s great about them? Firstly, they last forever, and don’t wear out. Secondly, they are such a fine emery file that one pass creates a smooth surface. Also wonderful as gifts for your office mates and co-workers! Available at both stores

Next up? Temporary tattoos. Uplifting, manifesting, courage-bolstering, dozens of messages to remind the recipient of all the ways she rocks it. They also work if you’re considering a permanent tattoo, but want to play with your message or placement. A trial run gift idea, if you will. Come two to a pack, so you can refresh when you’re ready, or share with a friend. Even better? An Oregon company, and only $5 per 2-pack. One size fits all. At Johns Landing only.

Author: Chris Gauger

Chris is a self-confessed resale fashionista. A fashion recycler from an early age, she learned the consignment business from her mother, Jan Gauger, at omt divine resale in Lincoln, Nebraska. Chris moved to Portland, Oregon in 1990 and immediately felt at home, among her people. She started Here We Go Again Deluxe Resale Boutique in 1992 and has never looked back. The second location of her store opened in 1997. Chris loves pretty much everything about clothes and fashion, but she has a serious boot and shoe addiction that is fed by the two stores. It's doubtful she will ever be recovered. In addition to clothes, Chris loves mentoring young women and teaching them about what it takes to run and manage a small business. She has employed some pretty remarkable women over the years and is grateful for all they've done to help grow Here We Go Again. She is a Hoosier by birth, but was raised in Nebraska. She has two sisters who continue to run the consignment store there, and one brother who has sense enough to stay out of the way. Her husband of twenty-seven years, is a land use planner and the fix-anything-guru that Chris relies upon more often than she'd like.
