#OOTD, Fall Edition: Outfits of the Day

If you’ve been Fall-owing us on Instagram, you might have noticed a trend lately: #OOTD. Finding a Fall “Outfit of the Day” is like sifting through a treasure chest, one rack at a time. All it takes is one inspiring piece, and the rest can easily fall into place: a statement raincoat, a colorful cape or a sassy silk top.Fall Outfit of the Day HWGA

Consistently one of our most popular Wish List requests, nothing completes a Fall outfit in Portland quite like a new raincoat. From classic Burberry versions to bold prints from Boden and SkunkFunk, put in a word with us and we’ll try to get you covered. We’d be singin’ in the rain over this whole ensemble, from the coveted Hunter boots to the tongue-in-chic purple bag by Furla.

We’re channeling some kind of boho super hero in this plaid cape outfit, with a cornucopia of Autumn colors. Easily a piece that can become a staple in your closet, it could easily lean towards neutral or eclectic depending on your mood. Secretly an incredibly comfy option (shhh, no one needs to know), a cape and leggings combo is equal parts chic and Netflix-and-chill.

Another great way to sneak leggings into your wardrobe, this silk tunic by Elizabeth & James is great paired with leggings and over-the-knee boots. Mix charcoals, greys and blacks to make the tunic really pop. Layer some silver bracelets and a pendant necklace, and we’re seriously feelin’ this #OOTD. Chris moved to Portland, Oregon in 1990 and immediately felt at home, among her people. She started Here We Go Again Deluxe Resale Boutique in 1992 and has never looked back. The second location of her store opened in 1997. Chris loves pretty much everything about clothes and fashion, but she has a serious boot and shoe addiction that is fed by the two stores. It's doubtful she will ever be recovered. In addition to clothes, Chris loves mentoring young women and teaching them about what it takes to run and manage a small business. She has employed some pretty remarkable women over the years and is grateful for all they've done to help grow Here We Go Again. She is a Hoosier by birth, but was raised in Nebraska. She has two sisters who continue to run the consignment store there, and one brother who has sense enough to stay out of the way. Her husband of twenty-seven years, is a land use planner and the fix-anything-guru that Chris relies upon more often than she'd like.
