Greetings, resale lovers: For all of you festive types, the costume season is approaching fast. We took it upon ourselves to come up with some great last-minute costume ideas for Halloween, all comprised of goodies you can wear again! You would be amazed at the creative ladies we have on staff; they were able to turn a regular clothing rack into costumes galore. Check out a few of our favorites below, from sparkly to throwback to slightly spooky.
The Glam Witch
We’ve all heard of the Good Witch, but how about the Glam Witch? To make the perfect cocktail of elements, add some mysterious black lace, a little bit of sparkle, and of course a pointed toe shoe. For extra festivity, throw some orange and purple and you’re set! We’re fresh out of broomsticks, but we’ve got you covered for everything else.
Freddy Krueger
We’ll be the first to admit that when this cute sweater dress came in, we didn’t exactly have a horror movie costume in mind. But surprisingly, it works! With the red stripes, a fedora and some gloves, you’re on your way to one of the spookiest characters in cinema—ever. Remove the glove weaponry post-Halloween for a totally fashionable, extra usable pair of winter gloves, too.
Sandra Dee: Grease
Rep this classic ’78 flick right with a sleek all-black look and red accessories. Even outside of the holiday season, we’ve seen Grease costume parties pop up year round. Get your moves and grooves going with an all-black look, some red accessories and google a good throwback hairstyle in the name of Sandra Dee.
