25 Days Of Giving For The Oregon Humane Society

25 Days of Giving - Oregon Humane Society

We’re practically purring! The Oregon Humane Society invited us to participate in their 25 Days of Giving campaign this year. In the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, 25 different small local businesses are committing to make donations to benefit OHS.

We’re especially grateful to OHS for spotlighting small local businesses this Holiday season and using this campaign to raise awareness to the need to shop local and shop small in this pandemic year. Learn more about all the great local businesses helping out here:

25 Days of Giving

At Here We Go Again, our designated day is Saturday December 12. On that day, 10% of all in-store and online sales will be donated to OHS. Their work on behalf of animals large and small is so needed all the time, but this year especially when so many families are hurting and in need of food assistance, not just for themselves, but for their beloved animal friends, too!

In addition to to our 10% donation, you can also support OHS by purchasing a cute ornament for your tree, wreath or rearview mirror. We have the ornaments available at both store locations, as well as a cash donation box. Thank you so much for helping!

Chris is a self-confessed resale fashionista. A fashion recycler from an early age, she learned the consignment business from her mother, Jan Gauger, at omt divine resale in Lincoln, Nebraska. Chris moved to Portland, Oregon in 1990 and immediately felt at home, among her people. She started Here We Go Again Deluxe Resale Boutique in 1992 and has never looked back. The second location of her store opened in 1997. Chris loves pretty much everything about clothes and fashion, but she has a serious boot and shoe addiction that is fed by the two stores. It's doubtful she will ever be recovered. In addition to clothes, Chris loves mentoring young women and teaching them about what it takes to run and manage a small business. She has employed some pretty remarkable women over the years and is grateful for all they've done to help grow Here We Go Again. She is a Hoosier by birth, but was raised in Nebraska. She has two sisters who continue to run the consignment store there, and one brother who has sense enough to stay out of the way. Her husband of twenty-seven years, is a land use planner and the fix-anything-guru that Chris relies upon more often than she'd like.
