capital of the northwest! What’s Style Sleuthing? Specially
trained staff who delight in dressing you, in finding just
the right “somethin’-somethin’” to
complete your outfit, or in hand-selecting styles they think
you’ll love. They’ll watch for goodies you crave
and call you when we get them!
HWGA‘s spirit was forged when designer style collided
with a practical soul. We love fashion, and we love the thrill
of the find. Our customers love belonging to our community
of treasure-hunting, trend-seeking and fashion-hungry women.
Style is about more than clothes—it’s combining
elements in fun ways and putting your unique stamp on the
result. It’s also about attitude and confidence. We’ll

Our History:
Chris’s resale pedigree dates from 1978, the year her
mom, Jan, opened omt!
divine resale in Lincoln, Nebraska. omt!
divine resale is still in operation today, with Chris’s
sister Sarah running the shop.
In 1992, Chris founded HWGA on the same principles she learned
working with her mom at omt!:
fun, humor, honesty, accountability, a zeal for recycling
and great fashion at fair prices – for consignors and
shoppers alike. Chris is a Portlander through and through
now, but retains her Midwestern wide-open welcoming nature.
